Aaron Clarke Certified Financial Planner

Aaron’s passion for financial planning formed when he witnessed the financial and psychological fallout his family experienced as a result of a Ponzi scheme. He is proud to provide an advisory relationship that clients can trust is free of conflict and in their best interest.

In his past roles Aaron has assisted affluent clients to help them navigate the complex choices that surround making smart money decisions for themselves and their families. By focusing on both the quantitative and behavioral dynamics surrounding money, he helps clients identify goals, create a plan of action, and take action—all to optimize their finances for years to come.

Aaron graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Applied Economic Management, with a concentration in Financial Planning. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional(CFP®), and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary(AIF®). The CFP® designation is a mark of distinction for the individuals who have met the education, examination, experience and ethics standards established by the Certified Financial Planners Board of Standards (CFP Board); and the AIF designation demonstrates understanding of the principles of fiduciary duty, the standards of conduct for acting as a fiduciary, and a process for carrying out fiduciary responsibility.

Aaron lives the Hokie motto of “Ut Prosim”, meaning “That I May Serve”, not only with clients, but also through serving on the Board of Directors for both the Financial Planning Association of the National Capital Area, and Bite Me Cancer Foundation.

In his free time, he enjoys fitness, exploring the great outdoors, and traveling to experience new cultures.
